About Me

Welcome! I thought that it was only right that if you're coming to me to share your story, that you knew a little more about who it is you'll be sharing it with.

So lets start with the basic demographics; my name is Peter, I'm in my mid-twenties, I work full-time within the Construction Industry as a Mechanical Estimator, whilst also aspiring to become a successful entrepreneur.

In my downtime, my hobbies include computer games, mixed martial arts, listening to music, playing guitar and working on projects like this. I can be incredibly hard on myself, but it's all in the name of self improvement and being the best that I can be for both myself and others around me.

In general conversation I like to keep it light, add plenty of humour and have a good time.

Why I Created Everyday People

Prior to Everyday People, I was naturally starting to become more curious as to peoples stories. I'd be fascinated to learn about their lives and how each event throughout helped to shaped the person they are today. Whether through great hardship or success, we are a biproduct of our experiences.

Being "entrepreneurial", I'd often ask about their career progression, the "where they started in comparison to where they are now" kind. I'd also ask about how, or even if, they managed balanced their family life, personal goals and general health. Somewhat selfishly, I was tyring to analyse what had and hadn't worked for them, to help me become my best self and live my best life.

What I found is, that it didn't matter who I asked, because I always found value... See every person is unique and values different things in life. Some care about money, some care about health, some don't care for anything at all whilst other may care too much. And they all have different reasons as to why they feel the way they do. It is my mission to use this platform to express the life value from those of which you would naturally pass everyday, that withhold a piece of wisdom that could improve the way you think or feel to manage your own life stories.

Side Mission

Other than bringing value to everybody through my stories, just like a computer game, I have a side mission. Ever since a young boy I've hated the fact homelessness exists, and at the time I always felt powerless to do anything about it, other than chucking a bit of small change in the pot which my Mum gave to me. However, now it's different. I've come to the realisation that I can make a real impact to tackling this ever growing epidemic.

That's why I've created a donation page on this site to raise money for Sanctus Charity. The money raised will go towards the good people who are already doing the incredible work to not just comfort the homeless, but provide them with a platform to help them change their lives around. The money will help them scale their operations to help more and more people.
